Recognition of Importance

We move fast these days. So fast sometimes that we don't recognize and savor the importance of a moment before it's quickly gone. However, every so often we're jolted by the importance of a moment like being struck by lightening. This happened to me while standing at Gate 64 waiting to board the biggest plane I've ever seen to Hong Kong

To prepare our bodies for the significant time difference, Andy and I executed a sleep deprivation strategy the night before we left for Southeast Asia. Although the success of this strategy is yet determined, let me say there is nothing you can do to prepare your mind (or your rear end) for 12 hours of grueling time spent in airports and airplanes. Fortunately, we didn't suffer alone. Three other members of GLEMBA cohort 11 joined in the 6900 mile marathon today.

At this very moment, I'm sitting in Hong Kong's airport with beautiful mountains on either side of me waiting to board for Vietnam. It would take the efforts of Mark Twain to succinctly describe in writing the visions and emotions I'm experiencing.

In lieu of words...I have technology.
